How and Why I’m Relaunching my Fertility Awareness Business

In early 2022, I had a baby! It was one of the most significant and amazing and demanding experiences of my life. In those early days of awe-struck puppy love, sleep deprivation, and general chaos, I quickly realized I needed to restructure my priorities. I decided to take a long maternity leave and lean into the chapter I was in.

I’m SO grateful to have the privilege to allow that space, which everyone deserves. And I’m also very excited to re-enter my work as I start to re-inhabit parts of my identity that took a backseat during the first year of postpartum and parenting. But as I began to re engage in my business, I noticed that my once-busy inbox has become a ghost town! So… I made a plan.

If you’re in the business of fertility awareness, you know how challenging it can be to get more clients. There are so many business coaches and programs out there, it can be tough to know which ones are really worthwhile. Well, I have some good news for you - have you heard of bebo mia?

Bebo mia is a fantastic organization that offers training and business support to professionals in the maternal health field (think doulas, lactation consultants, fertility coaches, etc). They offer a variety of programs and services designed to help you reach your full potential and achieve your business goals. Whether you're looking for marketing tips or specialized training, bebo mia has got you covered.

Years ago (2018?), my friend Marissa recommended bebo mia as a starting point for launching my business. I participated in their “Birth Worker Business School” (even though I am not a birth worker- you would be surprised at how few fertility awareness business resources exist!). It was the perfect place for a total beginner. I learned about branding, logos, writing copy, website design, social media, and client management. All the things I wish I learned in my FAM certifications.

I’m excited to share that they have an upcoming challenge that I’ll be participating in. The Get More Clients Challenge promises to provide valuable insights and tips that can help you grow your business. And, it’s interactive, so you can ask questions and get feedback from the bebo mia team.

After a long maternity leave and a “slow relaunch” back into my FAM business, I’m ready to roll up my sleeves and get my little business going again. If you want to join me, send me a message. Or, you can register here.

And- if you’re ready to learn fertility awareness, stay tuned! Make sure you subscribe to my newsletter (or send me a message) for details.
